The  Malady Chase Foundation in conjunction with the Kubwa General Hospital are offering subsidised Meningitis and Hepatitis B vaccines to both adults and children for N500 only. The Meningitis vaccine goes without testing while it is recommended you take a free test first if you're interested in the Hepatitis B vaccine. According to Dr. Ajis Eleazar, the Chairman of the Malady Chase Foundation, the test becomes necessary because if one is already infected with Hepatitis B the option then is treatment and or management of the disease not vaccination. The current meningitis outbreak is particularly worrisome because  all previous epidemics were caused by Neisseria Meningitides type ‘A’ but this year we are recording Neisseria Meningitides type C in epidemic proportion for the first time.
